Don't Miss the Boat: Only a Few Spaces Left

Hey Y'all,
No, I cannot-- CANNOT-- believe that August is a week away which means that Knitting and Yoga Adventures Monhegan Island Retreat is a mere seven weeks out. Okay, as of this posting, *50* days from now!!

In case you missed the news, there are a few spots left on the roster. If you've already been to Monhegan with us, you know all about this enchanted island, the Fairy Houses, the amazing hikes that Patty leads, Holden's hospitality and whoopie pies (yes!), Melora's yoga classes, and all the rest of it. If you haven't been, let me put it like this: I travel all the time. In the past eight months I've been to France, Mexico, Argentina, and all over the Lone Star State. In a couple of weeks, I'm heading to the Middle East. And you know what? All those trips are great. But Monhegan is the place I keep going back to. Being able to just sit, knit, chill, laugh, and eat cookies all day is my ideal vacation. If that sounds good to you, drop Lisa an email at knittingyogi@maine.rr.com and let her know you want to join us.

This year, we'll have classes led by Susan Mills and Cathy Payson. I am tickled to tell you I had the great honor of writing about Cathy, who is an amazing designer, for a recent issue of Interweave KNITS magazine. Cathy is so funny and so down-to-earth. Her projects have the double wonderful qualities of being easy to knit and gorgeous. A realistic knitter, she likes to come up with designs that don't take five hundred years to make but do include her lovely trademark design elements. You're going to love her, trust me.

So, what are you going to do now? That's right-- you're going to email Lisa (knittingyogi@maine.rr.com) and let her know you're joining us. Sign up today and I, personally, will make you a very special surprise treat.
